Usually this location is great but I had a terrible experience here today. I had mobile ordered to skip the line because I only have a 10 minute break when I got there I saw they were out of my bagel. Usually you just let the barista know you're here and they ask you what other item you would like instead so I go to the barista and he says oh yeah they don't have your bagel or whatever it is and then walked away to finish making a drink I was still standing there a little confused he just basically blew me off and he came back and said yeah you can like wait in line and get a refund. I waited in line for 15 minutes so I could just ask for a different bagel.

Awful customer service. Came in last night at Tuesday 8/13. Tried to order a mango dragon fruit. Upon receiving it there was no dragon fruit so I asked why. They said they were out. I think that would've been great to know prior to ordering. The two guys working especially the one on the bar was extremely rude when asking if I wanted a refund. Was willing to order something else but I won't be coming back to this location are they're clearly under trained in handling customers. Glad I didn't spend my money here.

Wasn't there long enough to really give it more attention for an in depth review. We stopped in after walking on State Street, enjoying the lights and holiday atmosphere. Headed back to our car, this location was convenient.
It does have the charm factor of being two stories inside the space, with the upper floor being mezzanine style above the barista's serving bar. One could imagine this being in San Francisco or Seattle, with the vintage vibe of a Victorian era space.
We received our drink in a reasonable amount of time, made correctly. The shop was pretty busy on New Year's Eve. The staff was working regular hours, until 10 PM that night.
They have a good location, centrally located on State Street, across from Paseo Nuevo, and not far from City Hall. -

Not sure what's going on at this Starbucks. Maybe they're numb from dealing with tourists. I knew they were busy so I mobile-ordered my cold brew coffee. The app said 1-4 minutes. I got there and there was a line that grew as I sat and waited. Everyone got there drinks and more people arrived. They got their drinks. I checked for my drink. No. More people arrived and they got their drinks. Finally after 15 minutes (i looked on my app for the order time) I asked the "barista" if the was a mobile order for "Richard". She looked at the cup sitting atop the espresso machine, curtly replied "yes." and turned away. I waited a couple more minutes and left. Someone else could have my coffee. A simple "oops, sorry" could have turned the situation. Apparently to much effort. After seeing the other reviews, I realized it was less an employee problem and more a manager one...

If you don't know how to make clover drinks, then don't offer it. If in a grande size you have to dump a third of it before you had to add ice, you've made it wrong. Get retrained if you need to but your customers are not just paying a premium for your clover drinks but go out of their way to get to a location that still offers it.
